Happy New Year Everyone!! I wanted to start this blog post by thanking each and every one of you for the support and love of this blog. I started it out in August of this year, and didn't really think anyone would actually read it. I have loved reading everyone's sweet comments. It really means a lot. Happy Friday! This week was short for me since I was off for Christmas. I can't believe that we are almost to 2017. In last weeks post I shared my top dresses for New Years Eve. Now I am sharing this leather skirt as a New Years Eve idea.

I know everyone is in Christmas mode. I haven't even finished my Christmas shopping yet. I only have a few more gifts to get. I am always a procrastinator when it comes to shopping for gifts. I am off the next couple of days and will have plenty of time, hopefully.  I also can't believe the week after Christmas is New Years. The next on my list is my New Years Eve outfit.

This past weekend I attended a Secret Santa party with some of my girlfriends. We have been doing it every year for a couple years. I always enjoy it. I know it can be hard to find Secret Santa gifts. I have rounded up 15 gifts all under $25.

Happy Hump day!! Can you believe next weekend is Christmas Eve. We just have to get through these next two weeks. We can do it!  We have a possibility of snow next week too, which is crazy. It has been awhile since we have had a white Christmas here in Kentucky. It has been very cold here, so this outfit is perfect for those colder days. 

Holiday Gift Guide for the Runner

I have two other gift guides Holiday gift guide for HIM and Holiday gift guide for HER. I wanted to be create a gift guide for specific groups of people. I will have more specific gift guides to come as we get closer to Christmas. The reason I chose a gift guide for the runner is because you may not know this about me but I love to run. I was in cross country and track during high school. So I thought it was fitting to create a guide for the runner.

We are halfway to the weekend. I can't believe it is also so close to Christmas. It is exactly 17 days. Can you believe it? I better get my Christmas shopping done. I am not even close to being done. It is finally feeling like Winter in Kentucky. I enjoy the time around the Holidays but not necessarily the weather. This week Kentucky has been way to cold. You snow bunnies are most likely used to it, but I am definitely not.  One thing about colder weather is breaking out your cold weather clothes.

Happy Friday, we made it! I always feel like the week after a holiday weekend is always so long. Now that the Thanksgiving holiday is over. I am in full Christmas mode. I am hoping to get our Christmas tree and decorate this weekend. Another thing about Christmas coming up is the holiday parties. This outfit would be perfect for holiday parties.
